Sujata Achrekar Back To Artist Profile
Sujata is born in 1968 in Mumbai. Sensitive and full of colour, Sujata Achrekar's paintings are reflections of her mind. The unusual textual quality of her work is due to the skilful handling of colour and theme. Most of her creations are restricted to a single figure that occupies the centre stage. It is in her treatment of these that she gives individuality to the canvases. She has her Diploma in Art Education, Sir J.J. School of Art Mumbai (1992), G.D. Fine Art, L.S. Raheja School of Art, Mumbai (1990), Art Teacher Diploma (ATD), L.S. Raheja School of Art, Mumbai (1986).
