He is born in 1962 at Delhi. He has earned an M.F.A. Painting with distinction (Gold Medalist) from the college of Art, New Delhi (1990). Vijender Sharma creates the figurative paintings in all medium with psychological, satirical way. He is outstanding and each and every painting made by him tells the story and theme behind it. Adjectives are sure to fail in front of his bountiful work. This pride of India is none other than Vijender Sharma- one of the very few amongst the Indian painters who can create life on the canvas through his magical fingers. This very down-to-earth artist has not lost his talent and magic in the lure of lucre. The themes chosen by him are always ordinary but intense.
